Marketing Director, Computer Medics, 1999-2009. Sent press releases and made decisions on marketing and advertising. Helped Computer Medics grow from a start-up to a company with 4,000 clients. Planned the Computer Medics Customer Appreciation Party, their canned food drive and other events.
As part of her role at Literary Project Management, Deborah markets articles, poems, short stories, plays, screenplays and manuscripts to magazines, newspapers, publishers, agents, theaters and festivals.
Produced and performed publicity for Unspeakable, a collection of eight shorts, Santa Fe Film Center, 2008.
Assisted with event planning for “Dear Diary” and “Dear Diary II, ” Santa Fe, NM, 2007 & 2009.
Publicist for Theatre ’47’s production of Celebration, Santa Fe, NM, 2007.
Founder of Networking Lunch. Each week Deborah arranged business lunches for over 200 people. Chapters were in Los Angeles, CA, and in New Mexico in Santa Fe, Taos and Albuquerque. 2003-2005. She also planned group events and holiday parties. Additionally, she arranged for some members to volunteer at a local soup kitchen.
Admissions Department, Rutgers University, 1995-1999. Gave presentations about Rutgers on campus and on locations to high school youth, parents, teachers and school counselors. Answered questions, gave tours, read applications, represented Rutgers at college fairs, helped plan an Open House that was attended by 4,000 people, and wrote a marketing letter that was distributed to high school seniors.
